Some pics from this afternoon-90F, and watering is always important when it gets this hot. Was watering the pines, and noticed some movement; seems I have a little help in the bug business, although I haven't found any yet. Also took some pics of the peppers, which are finally coming to fruition. About time. DeArbol, puta, and Thai Dragon. Also, I think I might have the smallest red carribean habanero on the books.

That's a pretty scary looking mantis! The bugs are probably hiding from him. Next time I'll try one of your peppers...
Janet, These Mantis are all over the yard-they were last year, too. They're great little helpers-I was watering, and it couldn't reach the next tree, so I shut off the water for a minute, extended my nozzle, and it climbed on, and was put on the next tree. I'll bring some peppers to the workshop in Sept, a nice variety so everyone can make a choice as to the level they want to try :)
